□ 호주가 지금보다 더 높은 수준의 위협에 대응하려면 미국과의 전략적 동맹을 강화하는 동시에 자체 군사력도 강화해 자주성을 높일 필요가 있다고 이 보고서는 제언함. 구체적으로는 장거리 목표물을 정밀 타격할 수 있는 무기를 호주가 만들 수 있어야 한다며 이를 위해 4년 동안 190억 호주달러, 약 17조 원을 투입해야 한다고 강조함
