□ 경제협력개발기구(OECD)는 12월 13일(현지시간) 「디지털 교육 전망 2023」(Digital Education Outlook 2023) 보고서를 발간하고, 챗GPT와 같은 생성형 AI를 교육 분야에 활용하기 위해서는 명확한 지침이 필요하다고 밝혔음

□ OECD 조사 결과에 따르면 한국은 이미 생성형 AI와 관련한 구속력 없는 지침을 발표한 상태이며, 승인이 필요한 규정(Regulation)을 준비 중에 있음. 법 제정의 경우 지난 2022년 조해진 의원의 대표발의로 '인공지능교육진흥법안'(AI교육진흥법)이 마련됐으나 현재 국회에서 계류중임

□ 교육 분야의 생성형 AI 도입과 관련한 주요 정책 과제로는 ▲데이터 및 개인정보 보호, ▲생성형 AI를 통해 나온 결과의 공정성·편견 해결 문제, ▲기술의 정확성 및 신뢰성, ▲알고리즘의 투명성 등이 있음

□ 교육 분야의 생성형 AI 적용 관련 OECD의 제언
ㅇ 각 국가는 교육 분야의 생성형 AI 적용 관련 명확한 지침을 보급해야 함
ㅇ 텍스트, 이미지, 비디오 등 모든 종류의 생성형 AI 도구 활용에 대한 가능성을 열어두고, 실제 사용 사례를 기반으로 지침을 개발해야 함
ㅇ 생성형 AI 관련 지침 개발 시 알고리즘에 따른 편견, 개인정보 보호, 데이터 보안 문제를 해결하는 동시에 생성형 AI의 잠재력을 강조해야 함
ㅇ 규제 프레임워크가 채택될 경우 진화하고 있는 생성형 AI의 환경을 수용할 수 있는 수준인지 검토해야 함
ㅇ 교사들이 생성형 AI 도구를 활용할 수 있도록 훈련 프로그램을 통합하고, 이해관계자들의 디지털 활용 능력을 높여야 함
